I got an e-mail for Worlds of Fun today stating that Oceans of Fun will open this weekend.

It also said, . . . "Highlighting the list of park improvements, thrill soakers ready to challenge the slides at Oceans of Fun will find a refurbished Waikiki Wipeout, Maui WoWee, and Honolulu Lulu as part of the Diamond Head slide complex renovation.  One of the park’s original and most popular attractions, the curves of the 300-foot-long slides will ride like new again after the off-season makeover."

Did they just paint the old slides? Or did they replace them like they did with Typhoon a couple years ago?
