i'm just wondering where they are going to put it there isn't much room i think that is the reason we dont have a giant tornado slide there is there isn't much room for expansion

The Triple Twist at Great Wolf Lodge KC is just about finished being built.  Looks like it will be a lot of fun.

I agree it was quick.  They just started actually constructing the slide this week.  Parts went vertical starting Thursday.

i just think it is stupid that they removed a slide to add one, that entrance you pointed out is part of the slide they took out

Impressive indeed.  How do they handle winter temps for slides like this?  You would think that the tube would be hella cold.

Is the water warm enough to mitigate the cold?

I'd say that since you are riding on a raft and in the slide for such a short amount of time you wouldn't be able to tell that much difference -- 'sides the water is heated.

I'm looking forward to the LED strobes at night in the three tornado parts

I was told by a co worker that took his kids in the winter that the slides that go out doors are quite cold!

If they think that that is cold - I'd hate to see them go to the ones in Wisconsin Dells in the winter.  It's not enough to warrant a complaint by any means

The problem I see with the triple twist is that it's 90% outdoors (unless they're going to enclose that area).  That's a long cold slide.

If you're that big of a pansy don't ride it.  Less wait time for me then. :D

If it's cold you'll certainly have a shorter wait time.  Then again I'm not usually in the mood to be in a water park until May anyway.
