Huge 10 acre expansion including a 25,000 sq ft wavepool with 2 different sides (think Bahari at HW) with one being wild and the other mild.  New kiddie pool with interactive elements and a swim-up snack bar.  More cabanas and an additional bath house complex.  Will be located due south of the speed slide complex and lazy river.

There really aren't a lot of reason why they can't try to recreate a lot of what makes Holiday World successful.

Building up the water park is smart way to go.

They saw a huge spike in attendance last season from opening Phase II and with the projected heat for this summer, I would imagine that will continue to be the case this summer as well.  Sure wish OoF would get on board and aggressively expand.

Next season appears to be the "year of the waterpark" in our region again as Adventureland has already announced their expansion.  SFStL will be announcing an expansion later on this summer.  White Water in Branson is supposed to announce an expansion with at least one large ProSlide.  I highly doubt Schlitterbahn is done expanding.

And yet the newest coaster is 15 years old. sigh.........

Edit: Actually, I'm wondering what's going to happen with the road that goes behind Tornado. Are they rerouting it or building over it? I didn't know they owned the land on the other side.

Nothing is going to happen to the road.  That road is West of the park and the addition is going South of the current park
