Colorado

So Elitch wasn't much to write home about.  The Half Pipe was fun and the dark ride was good.

Lakeside was actually better IMO.

The zip line tour outside of Vail was top notch.  It's 6 lines and the highest is 250' above the canyon.  Top speed is 35 mph.  The first was pretty damn scary but it was easier to relax and just enjoy the scenario on 2 - 6.  The last one is over 1000 feet long.

The mountain coaster in Glenwood Springs was the best coaster out here.  It wasn't as long as the one we rode in Germany (I should double check those stats) and it didn't have as many crazy turns that just about throw you into the woods but the drops were better.

They recently added a 4 man Screamin' Swing on a cliff.  As you swing backwards the ground suddenly drops 1300'.  The best Screamin' Swing experience I can think of.

And Tracy Morgan was walking around Elitch with his wife (or girlfriend) when we were there.

I was just in Glenwood Springs a few weeks ago, my brother lives there and is a white water rafting guide. I saw the swing up on the cliff as I was rafting and I really wanted to go on it! Too bad I didn't have any extra money to spend or I totally would have. Next time I am there I will go on it for sure looks so much fun.

Need to get out to Colorado again to try that for sure. Skyhawk is tons of fun I can imagine how awesome that Screamin Swing is.
