I would rather the park keep the price high.  IMO, too many Fright Lane passes were sold last fall.  That resulted in long lines for those with Fright Lane and extremely long lines for those without it.

I thought I read somewhere Fast Lane in some form was coming next year... can't remember when or where (let alone details) but I know that rumor is out there.

Yes Cory Fast Lane was announced. Orient we only encountered one long line for Fright Pass on a Saturday and that was Corn Stalkers we simply moved on to Doll House which had no line because everyone else was in line for CS. We did a couple other things and then headed back to Corn Stalkers and there was no line. I think after the Fright Pass experiment they have it hammered out to know how many they can sell for it to be worth it. If you play the crowds right it should not be a problem.

Well I can semi confirm that the Canine Junction Theater is going back the the Country Junction Theater name. I base this on tweets from @worldsoffun here: https://twitter.com/#!/WORLDSOFFUN/status/160415474784546816 and the Muttalica Show confirming the addition of a Mini Horse to the show with a new country theme to it per their twitter @hyperdogz here: https://twitter.com/#!/hyperdogz/status/157640226490167296 and the mention of the Country Theme here on their Homepage: http://www.hyperdogz.com/#!the-skinny-schedule

That is pretty convincing to me that it is going back to that name based on the evidence I found here.

When I saw that tweet I had no idea which theater they were talking about but I think you nailed it.  Didn't they also announce a new evening show at that theater?

I'm still hoping that the land behind Timber Wolf or the land where OE was will get used for something. I believe there used to be a rumor for it to be a Dive Machine, but who knows how that will turn out. Of course, not in 2012 however.

*Sorry for the bump.*

Woah, I did'nt even know I was reporting old news.

Anyway if there is a roller coaster I want to see get painted it would have to be Boomerang. If they could switch the color scheme that would be great too. I also dreamed of it being baby blue like Laviathan at ConWon or safari green. Even if they don't change the color scheme it really needs to be repainted. That section is way to dull at daytime.

Aww, that's cute! They're copying the infamous Cosmic Coaster at Valleyfair.

Except OUR version will actually be a coaster and not a powered ride.

That's unfortunate IMO; We caused a rollback on Cosmic Coaster on Opening Day at Valleyfair. Those kind of experiences aren't really realistically possible with a Wacky Worm.

From the comments on the blog:

So, you might paint the Mamba?

From Brandon:

Not the Mamba, but a coaster certainly!

and

Cool news for the Wacky Worm. Maybe they'll change the apple into a planet. Kind of a throw back to the parks original children's coaster, The Silly Serpent! It too was moved, given new a new name, theme and fiberglass cars. I'm sure it will be a great "renewed" attraction at Planet Snoopy!

From Brandon:

You are on the right track, its going to look great!

It has to be Boomerang.  It actually needs it more than Mamba.  Patriot and Spinning Dragons still look good.

Agreed.

More than anything, it needs a real station. It's had that temporary-looking carnival cover forever.

Maybe they'll paint it and sell it to Michigan's Adventure!  It'd go perfect there in 2013!  Then place a lower capacity Windseeker there (we don't need the 64 per cycle capacity of the others)  and replace the taxi tour with a intimin blitz coaster that crosses the walkway and fills the rest of the area that the zinger used.

I wouldn't loose any sleep if they took out Boomerang at some point.  I probably haven't ridden it in 8 years.

Boomerang would probably be tolerable with new restraints (like Carolina Cobra) and some cosmetic upgrades.  Personally, I'd like to see a custom Eurofighter in that spot.

I've read good things about the latest Eurofighter at SFoG with just lap bars.   The one's with OTSR's aren't my cup of tea though.

I'm not much of a fan of Boomerang either, so a small eurofighter or even a flat ride might go great there.
