I'm starting to wonder if you'll ever have anything positive to say on this site.

Jason~sorry for the baiting.  Just getting annoyed.

Why do they keep their trains out there in the elements? Don't the have maintainence houses for their coasters? I can't imagine it's good to leave an expensive B&M train out there like that.

Really good photos as always.

Sure they have maintenance houses where they tear the trains apart and inspect and rebuild them, but you have to remember how many different trains they have.

-2 Timber Wolf
-3 Mamba
-2 Patriot
-1 Wacky Worm
-2 Boomerang (let's see if anyone gets that)
-6 Spinning Dragons

plus parts from all the other rides.

Even Cedar Point has their trains outside when they are not being rehabbed and their elements there are a lot worse then what we have here.

They still have the second Boomerang train? I thought they would have learned from the last time they tried to boost capacity on that thing.

The trains are designed to withstand the elements, no worries. Check out Brandon's blog from last year, you will see most of the tubs, boogies, and parts for all the rides hang out outside in the off-season.

Silverstreak never has had anything important for us, but what are you gonna do...

That amazes me that they would have more then one train on Boomerang. Please tell me this is just an inside joke.

We're not sensitive.  But there is a difference between offering constructive criticism and being an  arsehole. Instead of saying "you need to turn down the contrast on some of those..."  You could have instead said, I noticed the contrast on some of those photos seemed to be a little high.  Your photo editing program looks like it may have picked up the colors a little too strong.  I liked the rest of the photos though and thanks for posting.

We are not a bunch of cry babies.  But you can't just go on to any forum and start sh!tting on someone's dinner.  You're gonna get called out eventually.  I have had my fair share of negative posts, but not every post.

I think all of us wanted black prowler trains, or purple and black, or green and black, etc.  You can't please everyone.  Most of us had already vented about this back in September after attending the official press conference.  As to Timber Wolf, I could personally care less if you enjoy it.  I do and that's what matters to me.  The way you made your statement made you sound ignorant.  We all know Prowler will probably be a better ride experience, but that doesn't mean that there won't be people who don't enjoy TW still.  In fact, I'm thrilled about it because I think it will reduce the lines for TW and Patriot.

Coasters can be like pets.  Just because you got a new puppy doesn't mean you stop loving your 5 year-old dog.

Finally, for the love of all that is holy: 1)Install Firefox (2.xx or 3.xx - I don't care which) 2) Turn on Spell Check. 3) Buy or borrow this book http://is.gd/cGDn

Ever stop and think that I was going for an artsy fartsy feel with some of those pics and I did it on purpose?  What if I shot some in B/W, would you complain that there was a lack of color in the photo?

I think they are great photos!
(Wow, my mean side just thought of a whole lot of mean comments to make to the critic... but I'm going to keep those to myself... hehe)

I think adding these pictures to the site is great!
It gives everyone that is not able to make it the park for an off-season tour, a look as to what a snowy park, and snowy coasters look like.

-2 Boomerang (let's see if anyone gets that)

Swoosh Are you trying to hint something about the Boomerang? Is it getting a new train, did they give us GL's Train, or like the other posts said did they try to boost capacity by running 2 trains on there. XD!

I was lead of Boomerang in 2008 and I tell ya what.  That ride was going to kill me one way or another.  I swear all the shutdowns we had all season just...grrr!!! :BangHead:

Anyway, about the two train thing...I had people come up to me and ask me, for real, if we are going to add a second train onto the ride.  Some people are really really stupid.

I guess there is a way to do that -- but you have to have the "turn table" option.

We actually thought about how we could go for the second train idea.  We would exactly what Mr. Freeze does and send one out while the other one was being loaded.

I want to say I've seen a picture of a double loading Wacky Worm but I can't remember where I've seen it and I have no picture for proof. I can't find it.

I don't know when I came across the turn table Big Apple, but I thought it was a brilliant idea. Boomerang would have to have a completely new station to have the sliding track, but it would be neat. Is the ride that busy that it need higher capacity?
