Whatever Ben, to keep this from getting ugly I am just going to skim and continue on.

Ok now that we have that out of the way, I do not think we'll have that same issue this year considering that HAUNT#1's structure is already finished for the most part and HAUNT#2's structure has been given the green light by KIVA.

Blood Shed didn't start having flags pop up until June last year and it wasn't until the end of August before the building even had its siding on it.  Granted we do not know if there are any flags for HAUNT#2 present in the park, but we do know that it will at least be another permanent haunt building and not a scare zone.  That alone gives it a heads up over CarnEVIL

Just in case anyone missed it as it got quickly buried in nonsense...

Hopefully this thread is ready for more info....

Found 2 new permits today. One has a different project number than the Zinger Haunt permits.  Here is a summary of the Zinger Haunt permits:

The new project:

^The reason Clowns saw such a fall off was the fact that the park had already promised 2 new Haunts for the season in their brochure and honestly ran out of time/funds to really do anything spectacular -- so we got the CarnEVIL scare area.
I'm with Ben on this one.  You're making it sound like the park came up short on CarnEVIL and what they put our there was the same thing that we were told months before.  They knew that it would be somewhat tame so that people could walk around, play games, see a show.  I'm guessing that some changes will be made though.

I like that they have so many haunts that are fairly/very scary... it does depend on what night you go also, since some screamsters are more experienced and are able to get in character (that helps with the creepy factor, more so than hearing one say "Dude, I just hurt my leg").

Makes perfect sense to me, with the exception of the new construction permit

Speculation >>>
*Doll House in Zinger (very possible, but another theme may be used for that one, after the new permit dropped)
*Camp on Nile Island  (perfect environ)
*CornStalkers over by Timberwolf (easy theme to pass off in that area)

I was looking at MIG, and I seen this photo.

Dustijn,
Is that woman being arrested :nono: by the infamous IWO, near the new haunt building??

^I think that is what is going on there.  To be quite honest I had not even paid attention to what was going on in the foreground before now, but now that you mention it, it is quite humerous. :)

Stand up for what you *believe*, if you actually believe it.

The original question was asking whether or not camp was going to suffer the same drop off in scare factor as the Clown haunts did, and I think my explanation is much more to the point and less of a "well I heard" answer.  But whatever.

Lets just celebrate the fact that a great park's best season is getting better.

o.o

Waitwait about the dollhouse. Is it possible that they're not doing it? D: That makes me sad, as I want to do it.

>.> Maybe I'll just return to Dominion. =]

I hope they release more information about the new haunts soon. I'm getting anxious.

Welcome aboard xxmagicboxersxx :hello:

Is Dominion the only one that you've worked?  I've tried Asylum and Blood Shed over the last two years and enjoy moving around.

=D Thanks for the welcome.

Yeah, it is. Last year I hit sixteen so, obviously, it was my first year. This will be my second year, if they hire me again. I worked at WoF at the beginning of the summer, but had to leave unexpectedly to Colorado because of a family emergency. I called and they said I could rep-apply, but... you never know. Hopefully if I just explain my case, they'll sympathize and give me a job. xD

I can't wait to work again this year. If I don't like any of the new haunts, I'm going to ask for Dominion again. I refuse to work Asylum because it makes me angry (complicated), and I won't do CarnEVIL because of my clown phobia. =] I know how to work Dominion, even when the weather hates us and blows away our fog. Actually, I think my best scares were on days where we had no fog. Dominion was definitely difficult to do.

D: But I hope they do a doll house. That would be amazing and perfect for me. xD

So do I.

For about five months after working in Dominion, I found myself humming some of the music they play because I got so used to hearing it.

xD The music on the site is so creepy. I love it.

Though it scared my little brother, because he couldn't figure out where it was coming from. >.>

He's 7, though.

XD

I love chasing around children.

No, scratch that.

I always hated it when people would bring in small kids to the houses. Especially in Dominion, when the fog was thick, I couldn't see if I was scaring a kid or an adult. =/ I always felt bad making 2-year-olds cry.

It's ironic that my job after the season closed was a daycare.

A new blog was posted on the WoF site. I got all excited, hoping it was about the new haunts.

But no.

Well there are a few "empty buildings" in the park.  Pick one.
