If'n my math is correct there's going to be two new Haunts next year.

Who knows, but you guys are lucky! 2 New Haunts, AND a relocated haunt (Camp). I hope that for Valleyscare they either remove or relocate Carnage at Crimson Isle cuz IMAX isn't really helping much with it.

...and like someone already pointed out, there will be 3 new haunts since Camp is being moved.

2. Nile Island
3.

but I imagine it will be a scare zone

I wonder if Corn Stalkers is going to make an appearence here as it seems like they are copying it to most of the parks now including Knotts

Perhaps Fear Faire could be the new Scare Zone, since that is what it is at Cedar Point.

Whoops... I updated the first post. I suck at knowing what year it is.

Since we're going up to 9 from 7 it's hard to say that we're adding 3. The possibility of Camping moving doesn't make it new.

How so? It would be impossible for it to be the "same" as it is now in a new location.
The layout and everything will be "new" so in essence it is a "new" haunt.

... or are you saying that CarnEVIL is the same as Clowns too?

I'm saying that last year there were 7 haunts and this year there's 9. They are adding 2 and possibly changing 1.

I'm not questioning the fact that changes would occur.

Yeah... I think that's why Dustijn listed 1.2.3., even though all three will not be new-new, but new in that they will not be the same

It's simple math.

9 this year, 7 last year, a difference of 2.

I understand that one of them might be different, that doesn't make it new.

I think a move makes it new... Will they recreate all the bridges and concrete structures that were in the old Plunge que area?

Yes there will be 9 Haunts this year and 2 themes will be new.
However there will be 3 NEW haunt locations which in turn makes 3 NEW haunts

This is ridiculous!! IF Camp gets MOVED then it is still CAMP. If they change it to a zone or something then you might consider it a *new* haunt. However if it stays the same style of haunt then it is just camp in a new location.

This would be the same for say, -- Mamba. Although this would never happen if they decided to move Mamba to the other side of the park to make room for a new dippin dots stand then it wouldn't be a *new* coaster.

But the difference in this and moving Mamba is... Mamba would take the same path and go over the same hills... where as, Camp will not be on the same path, you will not have the same "track" or bridges under your feet, it will have different twists and turns... so, when you are walking through it you will not turn left where you used to turn left... sounds like it would be a new haunt to become familiar with.
