Hello Everyone!

The 2006 season is now underway at Worlds of Fun and we could not have asked for better weather thus far! It is great to see that a lot of you have been able to come out and enjoy the first couple weekends of operation.

I wanted to stop by and first off, thank everyone that has helped promote the Park and our new coaster Patriot this year. Patriot is a huge step for us and we are extremely proud to be able to offer it to our guests.

I also want to remind everyone that Worlds of Fun’s first annual enthusiast event, Coaster Mayhem, is quickly approaching (May 20, 2006). Obviously the ERT, all-you-can-eat-meal, and crazy awesome prizes are incentive enough to attend, but the day is also a perfect opportunity for you to talk with a number of full-time staff members from the Park and also with other enthusiasts from around the country. We have literally received ticket orders for guests from California to New York and it should be a blast. Please bring your friends and spread the word; more people equals more fun.

Is there any chance of Wacky Worm being included in the ERT?

Janessa, Ben, Sara and I were shot down yet again today. We're hoping that we can eventually find a kid that is willing to ride with strangers. We're even offering free candy (just kidding).

We'll continue to pimp the event on all of our partner sites as well.

The MiG-Coaster Community bunch all sat at the back table and we had on our polos. Kind of hard to miss us actually. You should have came back and introduced yourself. The only one of us that bites is Ben and he has had his shots recently so you would have been all right.

What a freekin great weekend! Two full days at the park. I don't know if I could do it again though. I came home tonight after the second full day and slept for 2 hours.

Oh and Dustin,

Sorry about that man, I hope you heal up OK. I had my vet.. uhh I mean DOCTOR fax over my vaccination history.

There seems to be an increase in yeti activity at the park this year. I think that Lucy is towing the company line by denying the existence of a yeti.

You're just jealous. I would have had another prize too if I hadn't been 2' off on Mamba's 2nd hill. (I had Missy guess as Chris told me I couldn't win anymore).

I've found that it is a lot of fun to yell "GO! GO! GO! COME ON, ELI, MY MONEY'S ON YOU" every time Eli passes. People get a little freaked out.

I knew the park sections, Patriot Inversions, Rivercity Rampage and I think that's it.

My hand didn't make it up fast enough on any of these and I missed the Mamba question by 6'.

I finally have a picture of my banner. I am masterful in my skill of... knowing a coaster's... layout. Man, it really doesn't sound that impressive, does it?
Ah, well. My Mayhem pics:

Patriot is gorgeous at night.

You can't see the contents of this picture because my Sony Cyber-shot digital camera is crappy!

I left part of my shirt in because Patriot is pretty cool.

Spinning Dragons is also really nice to look at at night.

I'd have a lot more pictures, but my dad put the wrong memory stick in and we only had room for four pictures.
