Coaster Mayhem has been announced and will be August 14th.

And now we'll also have BahnCon at Schlitterbahn on the 15th.  Here's the flier http://www.schlitterbahn.com/kc/groups/pdf/2010KCBahnCon.pdf

I also started updating our club page with dates and links for 2010. http://www.coastercommunity.com/coaster-community-club-a-code-of-conduct.html

Is 'bahn adding anything this year or is the "new for 2010" the slide that was supposed to be open that connected the Krystal River with the Torrent River finally going to open and that's what is considered "new" this year?

I believe that the piece that will connect the two rivers is being done but the other slide complex is still up in the air.  Outside of that I'm not aware of any additional additions this coming year.

Well maybe the train will be working as well.  I still am wondering what they are going to do with all of those carnival rides they bought from Geauga.

Will probably do this event, can't beat $10 to go.  We went to 'bahn the day after Mayhem last year anyway.

There's supposed to be a flat ride area near the parking lot train stop.  I'm not sure if that's going to be up and running this year though.

It looks like they have a couple of the rides put together.

They might as well get it put together and running for this year.  That way they can at least market that they have a "new area" when they advertise.  Sure going to be an eclectic assortment of attractions when it is all said and done

I'm going to try and make it to Mayhem. I have a big project for work due this weekend, so I don't know if I will be able to go.

I am going to be at both as long a Schlitterbahn allows the same amount of guest as WOF does. Paying at the gate because I forgot to preregister for the cheap $10 boooo! Didn't realize there deadline was 10 days prior that is a lot.

It looks as if I will be there, but I will be at WOF Saturday AND Sunday, due to work obligations.

There's over 40 people registered for Mayhem already and I know of at least 5 walk ups.

Sounds like turnout will be pretty good.

And for those of you who haven't seen it the show in the Tivoli that we're getting priority seating for is pretty damn good.

So there isn't any sort of photo tour going on this time? There isn't one listed on the event page anyway...

IDK about you guys that went yesterday to CoasterMayhem, but I had an amazing time.... it might have been the company that I was with, but it seriously was probably one of the most fun CoasterMayhems I have been to.  Final tally was 8 rides on Patriot during morning ERT and 15 rides on Prowler during night ERT for me.  OH and for the record, I slept until 2pm the Sunday after.  Probably a good thing I didn't go to BahnCon after all. :D

Oh and for those who were wondering who the girl was that was with Derrijk and I, that was Hilary, who is Derrijk's girlfriend that he met at Palmer (Chiropractic School in Davenport, IA).  They're pretty serious, so I'd imagine they'll end up together.  They are so much alike it is scary.

:D  Anywho, amazing day... 'course when the 3 of us (Derrijk, Hil and I) get together we make our own fun.

Well at Coaster Mayhem while taking photos for the contest I decided to Spoof Jason's winning shot form last year using a plush toy I won at Fool the Guesser. This was not my entry but I wonder if I should of had entered it anyway.
