Well here goes! Rumor Bird has it that the park will be giving the Bulldozer treatment to Sherwood Forest Theater. This is where the Alligator Show is next to Excalibur, between here and the Carroseul and backed up by the Concert Theatre!

And coming in its place some new Steel and Footers! A Spinning Mouse is in the Talks, which one is the question! Rumor has it either like Great America's in Chicago or Pandamonium at SFNE! I believe that the PAN coaster is exactly like WOF's, I hope we get this style but a different lay out!

Shapiro is really crazy about the Spinning MOuse and adds to his attraction of Family Style rides that the park can use to establish his image of a family themed park! Would be a great attraction and nice to this area maybe tie it into BBNP and through it and above it!

Also For sale sign's for land available has appeared in the front of the park next to the Fire Station Building and I believe the Island Where the SF main sign is next to the Interstate Exit! Very Small Tracts of land for Commercial use, Restaurant, Gas Station, Shops, this type of thing! I think 12 acres and currently 6 is being sought! Last I heard!

It seems like the internet consensous is a Spinning Dragons clone. Is SF really this dumb and have they grown tired of cloning their own rides?

Unfortunately no, they still are cloneing their rides....

But the spinning coaster is definately a safe bet....there have been markings seen outside sherwoods...

the only thing that has changed is that they are going to spare the theatre and build around it...

the spinning coaster will interact with trees, the carousel and, the paths...

BTW...there is a rumor going around about something very, very BIG for 08...not much yet but a little birdie has said something about a B&M....again this is only a rumor so don't get to excited..

A clone will be a disappointment but a new coaster is better than nothing.

Thats what everyone is thinking right now....we're just hopeing that SF won't be cheap and they'll get a new design.......I mean why put in a coaster that is only 4 1/2 hours away?

Sure no prob....

Right now there is like a huge discusion on the board about the spinning mouse and people have been saying difernt things...this is what has happened so far..

Spinning mouse, HH addition ( similiar to typhoon at SFNE or racers) , and new unique family flat for 07..

Budget cut....HH addition and family flate scraped...

Most likely the security gates and entrence of park being completely redone and lots of painting and things like that being done throughout the park...

08....possible B&M hyper...again only a rumor but I am really excited by the thought of one.....we really need new coaster..

Agreed.....I hope that we do get the hyper in 08....

But for right now we'll have the spinning coaster....Speaking of that, people from WoF, is Spinning Dragons a good ride or not?

You'll like it. Capacity usually stinks but the ride itself is a lot of fun.

to Clone or not to Clone? That is the question. And the resounding answer is "I hope Not". After riding the clone of Spinning Dragons up at The Park at MOA, I really hope SFStL gets something at least a little different. If anything to give me another excuse to go back next year.

The word is so far that it is probably is a clone but everybody is hopeing that it is not.....But seriously, is Shapiro stupid enough not to relize that the same coaster is only 4 1/2 hours away......And if he doesn't think that people from WoF don't vist STL he's wrong........WoF found that out the hard way when they put in Boomerang.....there were consistent complaints (sp?) about how Mr. Freeze was so much better...

Well I don't even think it fair to compare Boomerwang to Freeze. Freeze is a real ride while boomerwang is umm well how shall I put this...I guess you can fill in the blank with your own thoughts.

Coaster Cloning should be illegal. PERIOD

A spinning coaster sounds like a good fit for SFStL. Hopefully, if it is a clone, it will be the larger version, like TT and SD, and a better ride than Spinning Dragons.

Those might not be for footers. The first markers usually indicate utility lines.

It's exactly the same coaster -- except in a mall and not the same color

Pandemonium at SFNE is also the same coaster -- again except it is in NEngland and is not the same color.
