Silver Dollar City Question?

I saw on another site that Silver Dollar City is adding a wood coaster.  When is it supposed to open?  I thought that they were add and new kids section???

This is still a rumor so I'm going to move it to the rumors section.

It's an interesting one though and I hope that it comes to fruition. :occasion14:

All I will say is that they have ACE Coaster Con coming in 2009.  They said at Coaster Christmas that there will be "more than enough for coaster enthusiasts to do" by the time it rolls around.  Also it has been in the works for awhile to expand down over the hill from the square towards and past the Homestead Picker's back porch.

I wonder if it would be project that stretches over multiple years with a major coaster opening for the Spring of 2009.

I'm just guessing and hoping.  A terrain woody would be the perfect fit there and icing on the SDC cake.

It sounds like THE project will be starting sooner than I thought.  Keep watching that area as the season progresses.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that THE project (Dustijn used caps, sounds important) is going to be quite similar to Thunderhead Gap at DW, complete with a terrain woody and a major flat or two.
