Last year we crashed for a couple hours at our hotel. Waking up at 4:00 am, then driving three hours, then a packed day at an amusement park is not a small feat. It takes a lot out of you. I was surprised by how tired I was last year. It actually almost hurt.

And this year will be even worse - I have a show choir show that will go late the night before. Gah!

Yea I will be doing the 2 1/2 hour drive and all day at the park and then 2 1/2 back home. I hope it isn't to bad. I checked to see if maybe the Royals had a 2pm game that day possibly that I could go to in between lunch and Night ERT, but they are in Colorado for interleague play that weekend.

You have repay parking right? I was thinking about going to Chappell's Sports Bar and Museum for supper and coming back to the park for the Night ERT, so I was just curious I know you don't have to pay to re enter the park but to get back in the parking lot I wasn't sure.

What year would be better though? Don't say the earlier year because you want a new one but for what works best! What do you think, 2008 or 2009? AND WHY?

Yes, 2009, not only because of CoasterCon, but because Patriot was an expensive ride and they need more than two years to "recover."
We will get something next year, that's pretty obvious. It won't be a coaster, but it will be something.

I think it may be OOF's turn in 2008 or maybe both parks will get something in 2008 but OOF is in need of something.
