Hmmm... that IS interesting that most of the major and popular rides at WoF were added on even-numbered years...

Next year has to be a major attraction for WOF and OOF.  Its been since 2003 an attraction has come to OOF.

OOF is in dire need of something new.  Especially with all the new competition popping up all around the city. (like local parks and great wolf lodge) Not to mention the S word park that is one its way...

I just want Thunderhead at WoF not one like it, the exact coaster stick for stick..  Alright I guess anything from GCI would make me happy.  I just want a new coaster to compliment Patriot for the upcoming Coaster Con.

Actually I would be fine if they decided to go with a small flat at WOF next year and then added 3 or more major slides to OOF next year. Schlitterbahn will be opening some of its parks/retail area in 2008 (or so they say) so having a big expansion to OOF next season would be wise.  Honestly they need to redo the whole park and make some of the pathways more logical.

I just remembered something, I'm pretty sure the Snoopy contract expires this year for WOF.  I would not be surprised to see our Camp Snoopy rethemed (again) to Nick Universe.  With that being said, maybe we can get a Runaway Reptar up there as well as some other rides.  Like Avatar at Kings Dominion or even turn the Camp Outfitteres building into a Sally Shoot'em Up Scooby Doo ride.

Hmmm... could we get our next coaster from GL?  According to this interview, even more "big coasters" at GL might be leaving http://www.cleveland.com/business/pdvideo/flash/index.ssf?ontherecord_0422video

Hopefully not, Sierra sidewinder looks like Spinning dragons.  I personally hate Spinning dragons, too slow, and not high enough!  Hopefully a good coaster will come next year,  were did you hear this?

He does say they will be "phasing out some of the bigger coasters"

However I think he might be talking about what has already been removed.  Maybe not though it is hard to say.  I am afraid WoF is still at the bottom of the list for this type of addition.

Dominator would be a OK with me.

How many new threads on "WoF in (enter year here)" do you need to start?  You could just continue in one of the other two that you have already created.  I can understand your enthusiasm for new rides at WOF, I used to be that way when I was your age -- but let's cool it on creating new threads when you have one already going on the same topic.

To answer your question, NO.

Be quite honest, I would see them moving Dominator to CP if they do anything.  Perhaps ThunderHawk could go to MIA?

I don't see why they would add Sierra Sidewinder to WOF when we already have Spinning Dragons? Maybe someone could explain that thought process?

Sierra Sidewinder isn't spinning cars? I thought they were. I enjoy Spinning Coasters. It does not always have to be thrilling to be fun.
At least in my opinion. I love Patriot and think it is a very fun ride but in my opinion after about the 5th ride the thrill wore off a bit and this is still a very fun coaster and my 2nd favorite in the park. Timberwolf is my number one favorite. I am a little bias to Spinning Dragons though as it is the only Roller Coaster at Worlds of Fun my wife will ride with me and I enjoy riding rides with her. However with the re tracking on Timberwolf maybe I can get her to ride that again. Funny thing about her when she was younger she loved Mamba and now she won't ride anything over about 150 tall because she can no longer handle the drops and has never been upside down on a coaster because she does not think she will like it. I almost have her talked into riding Patriot wish me luck.
What makes a great coaster varies from opinion to opinion I guess.
I can not wait until Coaster Mayhem so I can ride Patriot and Timberwolf some more. I assume I will see some of you there.

Yes. I have done that and the big kicker that got her as close is she is now, I  told her it isn't a staright drop it turns so maybe that would take her mind off how big the drop is and she agreed with me. Now I just have to get her to face her fear of going upside down and her not wanting her legs to dangle well riding. Time will tell.

Ha ha Nice, tell her it Massages the legs in flight or something!  Or tell her if she shaves her legs and rides it, its a whole new experience. I don't know you'll think of something!

Jive, what are you going to do after lunch until the night ERT?  I know Missy and I are not going to spend all day at the park and were wondering what the "masses" were going to do.  I know last year you went to a movie.

No plans as of today but I would imagine that it will be something similar to last year.  You're welcome to join us.
