I agree with pretty much all of your predictions. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess that SDC will end up with some kind of flat ride. I would guess a topple tower, but with the lackluster reviews that DW's version is getting, I don't know what direction they'll go in yet. I can't see a GCII woodie there yet...but it sure would be sweet as hell. Dustijn, you're going to give me a hint on whether I'm right or not, aren't you?

I don't see WOF spending as much as CP did on Skyhawk just a year after Patriot, but I hope it's at least a full-sized ride and not an upcharge attraction.

Suit yourself...I guess I'll just have to settle for yet another Big XII title and another win in football. Oh well.  ddr

If it makes you feel any better, as of right now I hate the *****Cats dancincat more than Mizzou right now. Ever since they hired Huggy, they are just annoying. And, we're more competitive with them right now than we are with the Tiggers.  dancing_banana

Anyway, back to the topic. You can still give me some sort of idea, can't you? Please?  :angel4:

Well for the 1st time in a long time kU football is on a winning streak -- they won the Fort WORTHLESS Bowl.    :speechless:

Back on topic.  As of right now I cannot say anything about the project.  I will give you a hint whenever I get clearance.  However so that I can stay in good relations with the park, I have to keep things quiet.  Sorry.  :hiding:

Worlds of Fun
One of three things:
- DiskO
- Screamin' Swing
- Giant Frisbee

Oceans of Fun
Maybe a small slide. I think the big expansions will be in 2008.

Silver Dollar City
No idea.

Celebration City
They have confirmed that they are tearing down Ozark Wildcat to build a Vekoma boomerang and an Energizer flat ride for 2007.*

Six Flags St. Louis
No idea. Maybe a new flat or a Hurricane Harbor expansion.

Arnolds Park
Nothing! Again!

Adventureland
I'll die if we don't get a new coaster soon. Our last one was barely a coaster and the one before it was in 1992. Also, the park has no good steel coasters. A GCII would be awesome out in the front, but I don't see that happening for a while. I could accept taking out Galleon and expanding a little out into that field in the front.

*I really, really, truly hope you did not believe this.

I usually suck at this game but I'll take a shot at it any way.

WoF:
Mega Disco

OoF:
I don't really follow water parks so I'm not sure what the options even are.

SDC:
Wood coaster (please)

CC:
The flat ride additions to SDC leaves CC with limited options IMO.  A spinning mouser would make sense though.

Adventureland:
A cheap flat  pure_evil

SFStL:
Something used  :hiding:

Someone mentioned above that they don't think that WOF will get as large of a cap next season.  You do realize that they got a large cap last year as well with the addition of WoF Village, right?

WoF - Revolution

OoF - Nothing

Adventureland - A new owner

SDC - Something that nobody has ever heard of

CC - Nothing

SFStL - A family attraction

^If they got a new owner I sure would be happy.  This park really should be bought by CF:LP as it would work well with the others that they have

I swear I will marry Kinzel if CFLP buys Adventureland. Who cares if he has a spouse and that we're both straight?
That would be intensely sweet.
This calls for a smiley dance.

Well, I know what might be in store for SDC in terms of World Fest and Kids Fest next year (man, I love being on their survey list!).... If they put in what I voted highest for, you won't be able to get me to leave that park for anything! And if we get that AND a ride? Man, I dunno how I'll be able to keep myself from running wild in the park, screaming joyfully at the top of my lungs. LOL (j/e*)

Would you happen to mind dropping a link to a survey? Does SDC allow that? I remember some people giving links for past surveys, remember the Ice House? Better yet, how do you get on their survey list?

This new SDC ride intrigues me.

And FWIW, I think WoF would be more likely to get a frisbee than a Screamin' Swing IMO.

The reason why I think it *could* be a Screamin' Swing is because there is a very STRONG rumor that CF:LP bought multiple copies of the ride for next season.  Also the fact that there is another STRONG rumor that KBF's model was never meant to be permanent and is "on loan."

I don't have the link anymore (deleted the e-mail after I finished the survey). However, I don't believe I could share it with you anyway, because they seem to have caught on to links being shared so now you have to enter your e-mail address (which is on their list) in order to get into the survey.

It's quite simple to get on the list, though. Just send them some feedback on their feedback form on the website, and make sure to checkmark the box that asks if you'd like to be contacted in future concerning surveys about the park. That's how I got on.

The surveys are so awesome. I love that they ask the general public our ideas. They actually sent me this latest survey twice, so I of course took it twice--had to make sure my enthusiasm for two of the concepts was made very well known to them.

I've not been on the survey list long, so I'm not sure if it's okay to talk about what the surveys are asking about. Man, would I love to talk about the concepts they're putting forward for the fest next year; they're *so* awesome!

And I'll hopefully *crossing fingers* be working there starting next year, so I'll be around for whatever awesome additions they make.

Yeah, its all right to talk about what is on the survey as it helps draw interest for the park.  That is why they do it.  If it was top secret they wouldn't send them out. :)  I agree though on your enthusiasm for some of the ideas.

Well, then, I shall state my two favorite concepts:

For World Fest, I gave the highest votes to Celtic Celebration. For Kids Fest, I gave the highest votes to Circus of the Century.

I think Celtic Celebration would be an *awesome* addition to World Fest. We really do need some more representin' from my ancestors' country. ;)

As for Circus of the Century, it was the Wild Bill Hickock's Wild West Show that definitely tipped the scales for me; it would go so well with the SDC theme. Plus the live circus would be an *awesome* show for kids... I think kids would get kinda antsy/bored at the Amazing Kids stuff--singing is singing, no matter what the age. For young kids, which Kids Fest is for, SAS is a problem (Short Attention Span). A circus with elephants and stuff would be a great piece of entertainment for them and the rest of the family!

I like the circus idea, especially with the Exposition now, I think it would fit in really well.

Were there any rides on that survey? I'm trying to figure out what SDC's new ride could be, since Dustijn doesn't like to talk to Jayhawks.  :angel4:

Thanks for the info on the surveys.

How does that go?
Oh yeah!  Rock, Chalk, Chicken Hawk -- SCREW kU!  ddr

There was a ride survey not that long ago that gave some HUGE hints on what the next attraction will be.  Actually the next attractions for that matter.  I also think that we will see what DW is getting in the very near future.

My memory is horrible. Can't recall what was on the previous surveys....

I myself cannot wait to find out what SDC's gonna do, though I *think* I've got an inkling of an idea. *shrugs*

It goes back and forth.  MU won the Border cup last year, but it looks like kU (BTW you mispelled it) is winning in points this year.  kU has yet to win in Mizzou Arena (which I find hilarious considering how BAD our basketball team was this year).

Tina -- I don't know how you could forget what was on there.  There were some really cool ideas.

Yeah, I know... I'm really slapping myself upside the forehead for forgetting. I remember something from January about characters and dinner, but nothing about ride hints.... It's quite possible I just never got the survey; I can't recall exactly when I got put on the list.

I sincerly doubt six flags adding on to HH because its allready HUGE and we just got tornado last year. It will be atleast 3 years before HH gets a new addition.

Here's my ideas:
WoF: Family Ride, med. cap
OOF: Tornado
CC: little or nothing (paint jobs, retracking)\
SDC: new show
SFStL: new mid-cap coaster??? (it's been 5 years since Boss)
