Also noticed that Prowler is ranked #8 overall in Wooden Coasters. Not too shabby either.

I am just happy Prowler/WoF is getting some recognition. Cool Stuff.

I was surprised about Mamba being #30. I cant wait for the weekend to tell people they are riding the best new ride of 2009.

I still cant decide which I like better Prowler or Manta because both are great rides. But this is awesome for Worlds of Fun to be able to post in the guest service offices and around the park that they won a GTA for best new ride!

Yea that is pretty darn cool. I have a ton of pride in my heart for Prowler. I know everyone at WoF feels the same way.

Do they do a TV show every year? It would be really cool to see Prowler on the TV (especially if they use my footage

I also thought it strange that The Ozark Wildcat is still in the poll.

I do think Mamba deserves it's high ranking. It is still a really good ride.

I am all kinds of in love with this.
Also would like to point out that Prowler is the #2 GCI behind Thunderhead, and a lot of people have even said that that's too low.

I think having had Con at WoF may have something to do with Mamba's rating.

Maybe Mamba can have some tunnels now? Possibly in the long 'flat' spot after the helix.

I've seen TV shows before in the past on the Golden Tickets. Keep on checking Travel Channels website for dates on the show IF they decide to do it this year

I'm impressed with this years tickets again. Once again they turned out pretty good. Overall a great year and it's got me interested in next years. I'm curious to which Intimidator will win best new ride or maybe the rumored Alton Towers wooden coaster will put up a good fight who knows another park may announce a new ride soon. All I know is it'll be interesting seeing if B&M or Intamin wins next year.

But once again, congratulations to Worlds of Fun. Prowler is an all out fun ride and all though I still have not rode it at night so I don't know how wild it truely is, I still am happy to see it win this award!

Well at Theme Park Revenue the list has been pretty much accepted without much criticism, except for one idiot who actually made the statement "I've haven't heard much about Prowler" Really?

There was one post about how Manta and Diamondback were conned out of the spot because of Coaster Con (haha pun), which is a strange thought, since basically all of the voting population goes to KI at least annually.
Of course I got eyerolled for pointing that out.
