Why do you suppose that S&S wouldn't want to make the parts?

It's possible that they don't make any money off them, since there is only a handful of suspended coasters left. Which in turn would raise the cost of parts.

Why not pull an Eejanaika and revise the style, then? I'm sure there's still a market for the suspended coaster, or there would be if anyone bothered to look for it. And S&S would definitely rock that type of ride.
Anyway, it's sure as heck better than another over-rated B&M flyer.  :cussing:

Vekoma has designed new suspended trains.  They look like a cool idea but I've read that they've ruined the ride and it's really slow now.

I still think that the problem is costs.  Replacing trains can't be cheap and a ride like BBW probably needs track work as well.  If there was still a market for suspended coasters Vekoma would be the one selling them and nobody has bought one in a long time.  http://www.vekoma.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13&Itemid=11

I think that Lance hit the nail on the head in his recent editorial.  A lot of old steel is probably going to go away in the next 10 to 20 years.

Stuff just wears out, period.  Blaming one particular company for that just isn't fair IMO.
