Have you ever wanted to visit Universal Orlando for a day without having to pay a dime? Of course you have! If you are a Florida resident, you are in luck, as the park is now mailing a free ticket for both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Orlando to Florida residents. On top of that, the deal also includes a coupon that can get 6 people into Universal Orlando for $35 dollars each, compared to the price of $63 dollars. There are no reported restrictions or blackout dates for the special offer, however, the deal expires after June 26th. The reason for this special offer? According to Dennis Speigel, the president of Cincinnati-based International Theme Park Services, Universal is trying to make a comeback after an %11 percent decrease in attendance last year. Plus, with the gas prices approaching $3 dollars this summer, it is making officials at Universal Orlando nervous. DETAILS.

I wonder if The State Of Florida is on this deal as well to try to get more people to move to Florida? Don't know why since it's Hurricane Alley Practically.

Those gas prices are definately going to be an issue this summer. Probably going to see lower numbers this year at most of the parks except for the more local/regional ones (Like Holiday World, Knoebels, etc. etc.)
