Do you have a million dollars? Do you want a nearly 100-year-old carousel? That is what the price of a carousel from the former Libertyland Amusement Park may cost you. If you will recall Libertyland had to close its doors to the public, after several years of financial struggle, according to reports. The Mid-South Fair Incorporated organization now has possession of the carousel, which dates back to 1909, and was built by the Dentzel Carousel Company. The historic carousel moved to Memphis from Chicago in the early 20's! Some historians are suggesting that the carousel, which by the way, is hand carved and compiled of only horses, should be sent to the Memphis Zoo, the Children's Museum of Memphis, or Mud Island. DETAILS.

If I had the money and space, I would buy it myself. That is a classic ride that are becoming fewer and far between.
