Yeah, I've seen Patriot stuff at Cedar Point as well. I'd agree, I'd bet that the t-shirts have nothing to do with a new ride.

That's probably a good point.  I saw Patriot and I believe Timber Wolf stuff at Knott's.

I didn't know we were just talking about the Voodoo Rider t-shirts. I thought we were talking about shirts with Voodoo's logo or something more specific like that. Never mind...

Well I actually do not do much shopping at the Point either, but my wife drags me into the store, and am forced to give her the card........ :help: Thats alright though. Fun when we get home and can see something from Cedar Point. And even better that I am writing this from Breakers Express right now, and getting ready to leave and go to the point. Have fun you all.

When you see what the park gave us for free this year at MANIA -- you would understand why I didn't need to buy anything.  Oh how jealous you guys will be that you did not go this year to the event.

This should get us back on topic.  :icon_salut:

http://www.screamscape.com/html/worlds_of_fun.htm

Screamscape has posted that equipment and supplies have started arriving.

If Ben ever wakes up we'll get him up there to take a picture or two. :tard:

If so, that all but confirms GCI since they're done with EK now.
I can hardly contain my excitement.

Sweet...is it too much to ask though for something bigger/longer than EK?

I started a new gallery.

Ben and I have discussed this and we are of the opinion that they are rebuilding possum trot.

What do you know? During our drive home from St. Louis last night we passed a semi (which had the name "Black Pearl" emblazoned on the cab) on I-70 with a whole truckload of wood and were joking that this may be for WOF. The tarp/covering on the wood in the above picture is the same as the one covering the wood that was on the truck.

EK was such a last minute thing that they had to go with an already made design.  I'm sure WOF's will be a whole new thing custom made to the interesting terrain in that area.

I just can envision some long, sprawling ride back there in the woods, kind of like a short version of the Beast or a longer Raven... something like that with GCI putting it together would kick ass IMO.

I could definitely see GCI going that direction now. Three years ago I wouldn't have taken anything like that into consideration, but now...

Check screamscape out now! Its got the supposed rumored ride stats!! That's too much wood for a Halloween Haunt.  That's Coaster related maybe.  I just cant believe there hasn't been a treecutter seen or anything being done in the woods. Weird. 8-16-08 explains alot im guessing.

I'm gonna say Cheetah is likely if the name really does go that way. Lion just has absolutely no ring to it at all.

I don't see that name happening: http://www.rcdb.com/id1044.htm

Quick looks on RCDB show that Panther is untaken, and Jaguar is only used by a park in Spain and KBF. I vote for that one.

But, this is cart before the horse, I'm taking those rumors with a grain of salt until I hear from something I know is reliable.

I'm back again.  Just had a break that's all.

New poll huh?
What do you think the Construction in the woods by boomerang and Possum trot are used for?

1. New woodie
2. Halloween Haunt
3. New lemonade stand
4. New continent (Woodie, small rides)
5. Just a new boomerang entrance?

If i had a choice between Cheetah, Panther, or Jaguar... Mine would be Panther.  Maybe Liger off Napoleon Dynamite?

Everybody needs a break every now and then.

We did that poll back in April when all of the flags were visible in the woods.

I like panther as well.  And I much prefer this type of Liger: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liger
