Chang/SFGAM 2011?

So I found this on Screamscape rumoring Chang moving to SF Great America in Chicago in 2011? I also read somewhere else that they are going to replace Whizzer with Chang? Why not get rid of the other Stand Up Coaster in the park before adding another Stand Up Coaster to the line up?

First of all, that's probably the worst thing they could possibly do to KK. Second of all, I will not tolerate the removal of Whizzer. We've already lost waaaay too many of those.
I wouldn't be surprised if another park got Chang, though.
But SFGAm... WTF...

I agree, but not a recycled one and DEFINITELY not a model it already has (one that is not popular or comfortable at that).

I just cant believe they want to take Chang out. That has to be one of the best if not the best rides at SFKK. It just doesnt add up to me.

A new possibility that's been mentioned is SFStL.  Either way I won't be riding it again.  I hate stand ups.  Floorless trains would be nice but I doubt that they happen.

I'm sorry but I lol'd this.  What exactly are you going to do if this does happen?  Not trying to pick a fight, it's just that there is very little we can do about things like this. (aside from not attending the park)  If they do replace Whizzer it is likely because whizzer is becoming cost prohibitive to run and needs to be removed.

I would also like to second jason's hatred of stand ups.

If I was forced to ride a stand up it would be RR.  It's the best of the bunch for sure.

But when I visit SFMM I don't ride it.

I enjoyed Iron Wolf at SFGAM. That happens to be the only Stand Up I have ridden. I did not find it Uncomfortable at all.

Ive rode two stand ups. Georgia Scorcher and Mantis. Both were rough on the brain. I remembering slamming my head into the restraints in the corkscrews in particular

I have rode Mantis and Iron Wolf... Both were terrible in my opinion. Seems like a weird rumor to me though. But I didn't like Whizzer that much either... So I'm trying to figure out why I am even commenting...  :tard:

I guess what I'm trying to say is this is weird.

You know call me crazy but Riddlers Revenge was not to bad of a ride for me. And I am NOT a huge fan of mantis, or stand up coasters in general.
