I've been thinking about the photos that we have posted and their size makes it difficult to see the entire picture without a bunch of scrolling.  My original idea was to have them be large enough so that everyone could use them as a desktop background.

Most of the coaster pics are 1024 pixels wide and the height varies depending on the cropping.  The few that are in the portrait position are 1024 pixels tall by whatever.  I'm thinking that 900 pixels by whatever would most screens more easily and people can request large imagines on a case by case basis if they want them as a background.

All non-coaster pics will have a max size of 640 pixels by whatever.

But is 600px good for an upload picture, and then have the option for 1024? or just having the option fo 1024 will make it slow? I like the option being able to have a Full page view and then a 600px. Hey Welcome to the forum Dustijn.

I like it the way that it is.  I can use the large photos as a background on my computer.

I've started doing some clean up work in the Gallery and the thumbnails should be clearer once I'm done.

I wasn't happy with the quality of the photos so I did a bunch of reading and I think that I figured our how to fix it.  I'm about half way done with the Patriot Tour gallery and the thumbs and default imagine should look a lot better now.

Fixing the fullsize photos is going to take even more work.

With the new program installed all new photos should look good automatically.

There is now a jpeg in the gallery header that will bring you back to the home page.

Once I get one installed on the forums I should be done jacking around for awhile.
