X-Flight, the only announced wing coaster in the United States, soars into Six Flags
Great America near Chicago, and features 3,000 feet of intense high-speed drops and barrel rolls with no track above or below.

I love how they said only announced wing coaster so they do not look stupid when dollywood anounces one

Anyone else find SFSTL's descriptions of their new slides misleading? They teased the day before about the new ride having a "loop" and then the announcement mentions that it's a "360 degree looping slide" several times, but it's a horizontal loop, which is called a turn, where I'm from, but I guess when your only draw for 2012 is a water slide you have to try and talk it up a bit.

Wild Eagle does look like a great ride but I think that I prefer the layout on X-flight.  I hope to hit both of them next year so my mind may be changed.

Next year looks like a blockbuster for us ride enthusiasts.  The drop tower at SFMM is about as awesome as it gets.  The weird little coaster at SFDK also looks very interesting.

The winner IMO is still Canada.

Wild Eagle looks like Wildfire's layout only in wingride form.

Hope I can hit up all three new B&Ms next year -- that is certainly the plan.

Wild Eagle looks good, but I guess I just don't see how it cost $20 million. It looks better than X-Flight IMO simply because of its setting.

And SFMM's drop tower looks ridiculous. I have a friend that just moved to LA, may be time for me to pay a visit.

Well it is Zamperla's version of the Starflyer.  They're calling it a Vertical Swing
