I wouldn't mind if they sped up Millennium Force's lift hill a little bit. The two big air hills don't offer as much as they should. Plus it would make the turns on the island more forceful, although the first drop into overbank into low turn would be a continuous sustain of high G's...but then the ride would be more appropriately named!

I never understand the MF-is-forceless argument. I've always gotten a ton of airtime on all three hills and a good jerk on the little bunny hop.

I'm looking forward to this announcement. What kind of layout will it be? Similar to MF? Similar to Bizzaro? A hybird of the two? Something completely different?

I'm guessing that the Carowinds ride will be similar to the last two B&M hypers that CF has purchased. The guess work isn't as interesting.

From the looks of those supports we are going to have some good banked turns. Some will be low to the ground even I believe which is always fun. Those low curves on MF on the Island are tons of fun.

I'm stoked. Someone on TPR suggested a big ass mega-lite (with would actually be more of a mega-heavy). That sounds like a cool premise for a coaster though.

Yep, the lift hill is intimidating (get it?).

A great looking structure and the guy at TPR that called a giant mega-lite yesterday hit the nail on the head. The restraints will only be an issue in a couple of the transitions.

I find it a little ironic that just a few days ago, everyone in the coaster universe was whining that we don't have a mega-lite in North America. Now we have this freaking huge mega-lite model and all I hear is OTSROTSROTSR-It only has three air hills-OTSROTSR.
Frankly, I would be just as thrilled if it had horsecollars or flyer restraints.

It sounds like the restraints might be more like Pilgrims Plunge and less like Maverick. If that's the case then this is 100% win!

I dont care about what type of restraints. This ride reminds me of Prowlers Evil Steel twin pumped up on more steroids then A-Rod with its low terrain hugging profile, IMO

You just gotta let the complaints roll man. Its like anything else, whether you are a fan of sports or coasters you tend to get a sense of entitlement because its something you care about. If you spend all your time defending then you might lose out on time having fun.

For me, kudos to CF and KD. Not everyone can whip out $25 million bucks nowadays.
