AWESOME!! Let me know what they have to say.

I would be more than happy to help you with future efforts with your coaster videos. If you are familiar with Coaster World News, I help William Bernstein out as well with his news stories from time to time.  I need to get to some media days :)
I'm not familiar with Coaster World News.  Can you please post a link and I'll check them out?

You're more than welcome to write trip reports and travel reviews for the site and we're also open to people contributing to the latest news as they find related stories.  What part of the country do you live in?  What type of video equipment do you use?  And what type of video editing software do you use?

News goes to Josh, Travel/Trip reports come to me.

Wow.....Patriot looks slow from the road, but once you zoomed it, it flys through the course. This is going to be one of those decieving coasters. Looks tame and gentle, but really packs a punch when you ride it. Kinda like Spinning Dragons with uneven wieght.

My wife said the same thing when she first saw it and then changed her mind when she saw the close up on DVD.  At the base of the first drop it is really booking and it's hard to see that because of the hill.

Welcome aboard. :occasion14:

Thats very true Pete. I mentioned that to Jason this morning about how it seems to be running faster now than it did on the first day of running. I know spinning dragons, if you sit two on one side and none on the other that think can spin out of control. But kinda deceiving if you just look at it and not ride it.

What's worse is having 900 lbs in a Voyager boat. We almost tipped over.

But anyway. Hopefully i'll be able to go in May.

Yeah, the very first video actually did look slower than I was expecting.  :sleepy1:
But the zooming on the new video makes it look way faster.  headbang

I would love to. But i'm not a member of any organization, so ERT would be none. It would be a good time to meet the MiG, CC, and unWoF crews though. I was shooting for May 15th, the day after my HS Graduation.

I would love to put faces with names and SN's.

I live in New Whiteland, IN. Just 15 miles Due South Of Indianapolis. In terms of video equipment, I have an older Hi-Fi 8 Sony Handycam. The program that I used for the video editing is Camtasia:

Cool. I would like to get out to parks more than I do, but regardless  I still love em :)

I am also a severe weather freak. Any reported damage near Worlds Of Fun from this Tornado Outbreak? Watching it closely here could be here by noon.

There has been very little damage around the park. I work for time warner cable and most damage is further north and east. I know I will be there for Coaster Mayhem. Pete you personally do not have to be park of an organization, if you know anybody that is you can come as their guest, so just a heads up if you are interested.

Yeah, but the crowds would probably be heavy. I planned on going the 15th. Schools would still be in...I hope. I don't know yet.

I plan on getting a season pass. But I would be getting it the day i'm there. How long does processing and all that take?

If you go and get your passport on a day like the 15th the process time should be minimal.

Thank Heavens. Several Tornadoes in Missouri were rated F2 and one I do believe was F3. Quite a large outbreak.
