Wrong park.  That's Cedar Point who is getting that.  Well they're getting an Intamin at least.
Cedar Point is getting an Intamin?

No the rumor is an Intamin.  That's all we got to work off of.
No other details were given.

It's Cedar Point. Would they build any big track style ride, be it coaster or water ride without it being Intamin? They would probably build an Intamin Woodie even.

Nah, I imagine they'd go with GCI for the wooden coaster.  Couple of years ago it was brought up at Mayhem Q&A the question if they'd consider Intamin for a woodie and it was pretty much nixed from the panel and they brought up how they were very satisfied with GCI and Renegade and they would be working with them in the near future (Worlds of Fun).

I do believe that this will be a water ride, whether it be Aqua Trax or whatever remains to be seen, but it sounds like Snake River Falls is coming out and it will go there.

It looked like a good time to split this off of the Carrowinds thread.

Why is Carowinds spelled with an extra "r" anyway?

The same reason they'll probably put up a B&M clue next or talk about how they love Entenmann donuts - no wait, that last one would be a real clue and not something to throw you off.

There are a couple of neat flats in the ride trade catalog, but Intamin pretty much centers on coasters these days.

I can't imagine them getting another coaster right now without taking one out. At this point, it'd just be a waste of money. MS needs to hurry up and go. Maybe next year will be the year we see SOB and MS taken down in one swing.

Obviously the island is where the 2010 project is going to go down though.

The logo at the top of the bottle is MF's logo flipped and reversed.

More of CP being criptic:

They are narrowing down the list of possibilities this week...
"Aquatrax??? Not in 2010..."
So 1 of their tweets was real? Just now gotta see which one now? hmm
Well its probably a coaster then, which they would need one to keep the title as coaster capital.

Color "unexcited" regarding anything CP might announce.

I think if it was going to be a coaster, we'd see a lot more earth being moved and a lot more whispering hype.

I wouldn't think Cedar Point would keep quiet about anything big. They do poke around on the pointbuzz forums and drop "clues" about additions, but so far it hasn't lead to anything exciting.

With the theme idea of Lightning striking twice. The upside down Millenium Force logo. The fact that Millenium Island is in play. The colors on Whyte Lightning similar to MF colors. Could we be seeing MF Transformed with the new Multimedia trains? Flame Throwers(what they are doing on Millenium Island)? Or even different interactions? Similar to Superman to Bizzaro and X to X2?

Just a crazy Idea I just got sitting at lunch. I don't know how likely it is. What are some of your thoughts?

^^Ew, no. That would totally ruin an otherwise outstanding coaster. Cedar Fair isn't desperate enough to stoop to Six Flags's level.
^I heard on TPR that one of the PR guys announced at a Maverick ERT that the new ride cannot get you wet.

Cedar Point  is not building an S&S, a B&M, a Grav. Group, a Mack, or a Gerstlauer.
So that leaves.....

Vekoma!!!!

But also Premier and Intamin, I guess.
Intamin spinner, please.

Mack has been generally left out.  Perhaps a spinning coaster like the one at Knotts?

I heard from one of Keith's "friends" that the name of this ride will be what everyone talks about when it is finally released what this ride is going to be,
