So which is it Carowinds or King's Island?  You linked to the Carowinds page and the page for Diamondback which is at Kings Island (which incidentally already has a running thread: http://coastercommunity.com/smf_forum/everything-coasterride-related/kings-island-2009/ )

Carowinds for sure.  Kings Dominion is the "iffy" one.

No, it's a stress test. They're driving them around the world longitudinally to see if they can survive. Clearly.

Even though it seems strange to pack the supports up and move them again I highly doubt that they were sent to the wrong park.  Too many things would have to go wrong for that to even be possible.  They're probably just moving them to a different staging area.

I think that Jasons answer makes the most sense. I doubt they'll keep them right at the park because to many people can see the track and I doubt they want people to see the track. So I bet ya there moving them to another holding area.

Well it turns out that there is a Coaster Enthusiast event there this weekend.
I would imagine THIS is why the supports have been taken off site, because I highly doubt the park is ready to announce what is coming for next year already and having the supports on site would make it a lot tougher to denounce that anything is coming... with the supports now off site they can down play it a lot easier.  I would imagine that Kinzel probably was the one that told them to move them off site since he was there this past week.

Easier to deny they exist when they are not located in the parking lot.

To me, that makes no sense. You think a company as lean as CF would care if a hundred or two enthusiasts saw some supports? They probably have 10,000 other guests in the park that day. Think about Patriot, Prowler, etc...all the materials where right there. Its not a hiding game, I doubt the people that are working on staging the ride even know there is a coaster event.

I think they are simply moving them to stage them elsewhere.

Yes and how many of those 10,000 guests are given a Q&A session with the park president?

They mentioned the first delivery on Twitter.  I'm sure that they're going to get questions regardless of the support locations.

Here's what I'm picturing.

Coaster Nerd #1 - I was told that I can play my music at a reasonable volume.

Park President - Next question!

Coaster Nerd #2 - I believe that you have my stapler.

Park President - We have something BIG in store for all of you next year and we'd like to invite you back on (insert random date) for our BIG announcement.

Coaster Nerd #3 - How tall will it be?

Park President - We'll fill you in on all of the BIG details on (insert random date but make sure it matches previously mentioned random date).

Coaster Nerd #4 - Is it from Intamin?

Park President - I won't know until we announce it but I'm sure that it will be BIG.

Coaster Nerd #5 - Is the track going to be red?  Cedar Fair seems to love the yellow and red combo.  I have personally grown tired of it.

Park President - I'm sure that this will be covered in the announcement but I personally love the yellow and red combo.

Coaster Nerd #6 - Will it accommodate larger guests?

Park President - We try to make sure that all of our rides include can accommodate as many body types as possible.

Coaster Nerd #6 (follow up question) - Are you going to refill the fried chicken tub?

Park President - Of course.

Coaster Nerd #7 - Will it launch?  I've grown tired of launching.  Sure it feels really cool and exciting but nothing can match the trill of a slow climb up a lift hill.

Park President - I want to thank everyone for coming and be sure to enjoy the rest of your time at King's Dominion.

Sort of like last year at Coaster Craze

Looty: So is the rumor that the log flume is leaving after this year true???

Park President: I've heard that rumor but I cannot gurantee the validity of it.

Looty: What's the going price for a wave pool now days?

Park President: No further questions.

Yes the supports for KD's coaster showed up awhile ago and then they moved them off site.
Please at least attempt to keep up.

Wood has been delivered to hold up the track & supports in the staging area, so it is just a matter of time now.

Before anyone asks, the wood that Dustijn mentions is to keep the metal from getting scraped and warped.
